Special Children’s Charity is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. We provide clothes and independent living needs to local children in foster or group home care.
Reaching out to the community for donations such as clothes, electronics, household fixtures, and housing supplies for the purpose of refurbishment and redistribution to children in need.
Applicants must register with SCC to receive a packet of supplies. The supplies consist of basic living items, such as; clothing under garments, pants, shirts, shoes etc.
Education and Training Development
SCC will provide support during educational development. We offer referral assistance for college prep and other skill trade schools. Employment direction and assistance is also available.
Our organization will be providing clothing, household items and training classes for children living in Arizona. Community Outreach Program for children in out of home care. SCC will work with other organizations in order to obtain the necessities to support children through independent living transition. SCC will provide ongoing training to develop educational direction and apartment living adjustment education classes.
Distribution of Emergency Clothing
Children living in group home/foster care can receive emergency clothing.
Yearly Clothing Allowance
After registering with SCC, participants will be eligible to receive additional clothing on a 6 month rotation or seasonal conditions. Light clothing will be dispensed in the summer and warm clothing for winter.
Apartment Living Training
Four training classes per year are offered to assist teens reaching the age of maturity. Teens completing the SSS Apt Living Training program will be able to receive start-up supplies needed in their own apartment. Teens can qualify after completing this training class.
